Frequently Asked Questions

The Logistics

  • Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and heard from the start.

The Discovery Call: We begin with a video chat to discuss your needs and ensure our services are the right fit for your goals.

Home Arrival: Your therapist will come to your home with a portable treatment table and all necessary clinical supplies.

What to Wear: Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing or bottoms that are easy to change into or out of for the physical assessment.

  • We are entering your space, and we want you to feel at ease!

Privacy: For internal or direct pelvic floor interventions, we recommend a private room where you feel most comfortable.

Family: You are welcome to have children or other family members nearby.

Pets: While we absolutely love animals, we ask that pets be secured or kept in a separate area during the session to ensure the safety of both the therapist and your furry friends.

  • Each session typically lasts between 45–60 minutes, allowing us ample time for both hands-on treatment and movement-based exercises.

  • Not at all. Most of our work is done using what you already have at home or the specialized tools your therapist brings. If we determine that a specific piece of equipment would significantly aid your progress, we will discuss those options as part of your personalized plan of care.

  • Please don’t worry about the laundry or the dishes! We are coming to treat your body, not inspect your housekeeping. We understand that life is busy. Our only concern is maintaining a safe environment that is free of hazards, as we visit multiple patients throughout the day.

Clinical & Treatment

  • In short: No. However, an internal assessment provides the most accurate data regarding your pelvic floor function. Without it, we cannot be 100% certain of every contributing factor, which may impact the speed or precision of your results. That said, with our expertise, we can still provide high-quality care and significant improvement using external techniques and functional movement.

  • That is no problem at all! We are perfectly comfortable treating you during your cycle, and internal interventions can still be performed if you are comfortable with them.
